The Luxembourg Pavilion has been turned into a lunar workshop to stage spatial mining operations and imagining the backstage of a modern ‘gold rush’ with all the false promises of any unlimited off-Earth resources. The theme is further studied in a movie made by filmmaker Armin Linke in cooperation with an international team working on extra-terrestrial mining research, and a book, Staging the Moon, with contributions from the curators and photographs by Linke and Ronni Campana.
