The Philippines choose orography to explain the issues that have long affected communities in the Estero de Tripa de Gallina, the longest stream in the Metro Manila region. Overpopulation, combined with the lack of structural interventions on the estuary, has completely transformed the area, which has turned into a muddy, smelly expanse that pre vents the stream to empty into the Pasig River and later in the Manila Bay. The installation is a buoy-shaped bamboo construct that acts as a beacon to call to collaborative action under the guide of resilience.
