Data processing has a large role in our lives, which delegate to technology a growing number of everyday activities. Over 2000 cube metres of coloured steel pipes reproduce, at a 1:1 scale, the material result of data processing that, paradoxically, aims at showing its own fallibility, stimulating reflections on how technology is far from being error-free, and suggesting that we should scale back its role in fields such as architecture and land planning in general.
