The forests around Loch Ness, in the Scottish Highlands, the industrial ruins of steel mills in Ravenscraig, in the Lowlands, and the coast of the Orkneys are the stages of an imaginative journey in and around Scotland. The materials used in the exhibition reflect the features of the local landscape: wood for Loch Ness, hay and other natural materials for the Orkney Islands, metal for Ravenscraig. The exhibition explores the possibility of alternative approaches to the challenge of the global climate emergencies, postulating a new vocabulary and new ways to creatively explore the environment.
