At the Emirati Pavilion, visitors will be able to perceive the spatial, material, and sensorial qualities of a dry environment, recreated to evoke both the typical landscape of the UAE and a worrying, probable future of the entire planet. The underlying provocation is about trying to associate dry environments to the idea of abundance, rather than scarcity, by explorating the potential of architecture within arid landscapes in the Emirati desert highlands and by sharing already existing practices of soil conversion at a global level.
