Tarek was looking forward to a PlayStation-and-junk-food night with his friends. He first goes to the park to buy some hashish but, someone is watching him from a car: a policeman. The mysterious and menacing but kind man, instead of taking him to the police station, makes Tarek stay with him all night. Among fights, pursuits, and escapes, the night becomes more and more cryptic. At sunrise, their roles might reverse.
Is a child of artists born in Rome in 1991. He participated in the Cannes Film Festival in 2014 and 2015. His Varicella (2015) earned him the Best Short Film Award at the Semaine de la Critique in Cannes. He debuted with feature film Guarda in alto in 2018, while in 2019 he directed his second feature Il colpo del cane. Also in 2019, he created his first interactive web-series Il caso Ziqqurat, a crime series in eight episodes.
