(2023, USA, 118')

The film’s protagonist is a ruthless, cold-blooded killer living in a world that has seemingly lost all moral and civil principles. A killer who studies his targets with the coldness of a predator and the clear-headedness of a professional, observing their every movement. At some point, something is missing in what was a clockwork mechanism of lucidity, and the protagonist falls into folly as fear makes its way through his mind.

David Fincher

A director and producer for TV and cinema, Fincher directed some of the most celebrated titles of cinema’s recent history, including Seven (1995), Fight Club (1999, presented at Venice), The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008), The Social Network (2010). After an early career in special effects for blockbusters such as The NeverEnding Story and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Fincher traced a new horizon for himself in the world of thriller cinema and current affairs.
