A tetralogy marked by different colors, different skies under which to forge new relationships between the arts and nurture something over time: this is the project for the four-year period by the directors of the Theatre sector of the Biennale, Stefano Ricci and Gianni Forte (ricci/forte). This year, they present Niger et Albus (black and white), their fourth and final edition, following the abyssal Blue in 2021, the intense Rot in 2022, and the brilliant and enchanting Emerald in 2023.
The program includes a lineup of performances and events featuring prominent figures from the best national and international contemporary theatre scene. It also includes productions within the scope of Biennale College Theatre 2023, such as Crisalidi by Ciro Gallorano, born in 1988 and hailing from Torre del Greco, winner of the Directors under 35 competition who will present his project in its final form. Additionally, there are Livido by Eliana Rotella and Così erano le cose appena nata la luce by Rosalinda Conti, winners of the Dramaturgy competition, who will present their texts in the form of a mise en lecture.
