Now in its eleventh edition, the important sailing competition that has always been supported and experienced firsthand by representatives of the Venetian haute hôtellerie, who – with the indispensable support of internationally renowned skippers, to whom the purely technical and competitive part is entrusted – compete for the Doge’s Hat, a coveted prize made of Murano glass. Competing in the spectacular regatta, the only one in the world to take place on a city circuit, are yachts from Alajmo Ristorante Quadri, Aman Venice, Bauer Palazzo, Ca’ di Dio, VRetreats, Ca’ Sagredo Hotel, Hotel Danieli, Hotel Excelsior, The Gritti Palace, Londra Palace, JW Marriott, Nolinski Venezia, Palazzina, St. Regis, SINA Centurion Palace and Violino d’Oro in addition to the Municipality of Venice-Salone Nautico and Scuola Navale Militare “F. Morosini.” The start is scheduled to take place from St. Mark’s Basin, and the extremely scenic course will unfold within the Giudecca Canal between the two ends of the course, St. Mark’s Basin and the Maritime Station. The public can follow the regatta from the shores of St. Mark’s Basin, Punta della Dogana, Giudecca and Zattere.
