[Biennale College Arte] Castagnetti’s work is inspired by the restlessness of everyday life, by the desire to change our relationship with our body and with other living beings surrounding us. A desire that takes shape in sculptures, drawings, videos, installations and performances that turn this restlessness into a sort of catharsis, leading to a metamorphosis. In Castagnetti’s work, ceramic and metals are defensive shields for a soft, fragile matter destined to unravel, which becomes alien in its mirroring aspect.
