Talbot has been awarded the eighth edition of the Max Mara Art Prize for Women for the three-year period 2019-2022. Her work embraces drawing, painting, animation, sculpture and is often autobiographical. She has always been engaged in suggestive research in the political, social and collective nuances of subjectivity and she has always dealt with issues ranging from gender inequality to environmental catastrophes becoming the spokesperson of a colorful and dreamlike art which aims at exploring the potential of fabrics.
