In her observation Giulia Cenci focuses on elements, such as details of industrial products and natural elements, capable of expressing transient qualities, vulnerabilities, promises and failures of human work. Cenci’s installations are damaged landscapes where something has happened and something could still happen, but where time is crystallised: everything seems static, indefinite, suspended in a dimension of pure observation. “I am interested in the process, the transformation – declares the artist – but even more in trying to stop things that seem to disappear, in making the invisible visible through a very physical, very human work”.
