Gloria Cabral, a Spanish architect of Paraguayan ancestry, and Sammy Baloji, photographer and artist of Congolese ancestry, centre memory and culture in the collective building of society. Their visions intersect under the idea of productive dialogue between their professional and cultural identities: on one side, the study of Congolese architectural and industrial heritage, which allows Baloji to reinterpret the effects of colonialism, and on the other, the understanding of local social and environmental values that allows Cabral to use traditional materials creatively. Cécile Fromont presents an intersection on works made with Baloji.
