The artist uses abstract oil painting as a way to figure out herself in a sort of representation of the inner room of her thoughts and her identity. Educated at the Royal College of Art in London, she spent formative years in Japan, where she sourced local aesthetics into her repertoire. Vibrant colour and energy are the key ingredients in Fadojutimi’s art, who works on sketches and drawings before moving to on-canvas painting, with some pieces being completed overnight.
