Born in Texas in 1951, Joe R. Lansdale is considered one of the most original and creative authors of the contemporary scene. His style is difficult to classify, ranging from gothic to science fiction, revealing a passion for pulp and comics, always revisited in a unique way. He has worked with director Ridley Scott at the transposition of his novel Cold in July, a film directed by Jim Mickle and presented at the Cannes Festival in 2014.
