A blend of architecture and narration, the work of Lauren-Loïs Duah focuses on two themes: on one hand, the role architecture plays in moments of accelerated social transformation; on the other, the geography and effects of fast fashion. Her work has resulted in two podcast series: The Youtopia Podcast and When the Sites Speaks Back: Crosscontinental Clothescapes. Her spatial designs bring together textile industry, design, art and literature, thus imagining narrations where the involvement of communities in production and trades brings about positive change for society at large.
