A photographer and multimedia artist, Lena Herzog was born in Russia and became a US citizen in 1990. She currently lives and works in Los Angeles. In her works, traditional photographic techniques integrate and interact with cutting-edge technologies in the fields of sound and virtual reality. Art and science are at the same time subjects to be studied and cornerstones of the creative process, as can be seen in Last Whispers: An Immersive Oratorio for Vanishing Voices, Collapsing Universes and a Falling Tree, an installation hosted in Venice by CFZ-Ca’ Foscari Zattere during Biennale Arte 2022.
