This studio was established in 2021, born out of what its members call a ‘riff’ – a free meeting space to work on designing buildings, researching history and teaching architecture. From the dialogue between these skills, a reflection on the complex function of architecture in contemporary society emerges: one which is clearly laid out in the important design project presented in Chicago: Architecture of Reparations.
