The studio’s work builds upon the principles of Just Urbanism: what would cities look like if we were to prioritise equitability, equality, and inclusion? From this idea, Toni L. Griffin has developed not only a research and education workshop (The Just City Lab), but also a studio that works on trans-scale planning models and puts communities at the centre of co-generative processes. Data, stories and content are essential elements in the reconstruction of narratives, and by following this process the studio constructs architectural practices founded on cooperation and the sharing of ‘values’, a vision that we can find in all their designs.
