Founded in 2005, Fondation Wilmotte celebrates twenty years of activity dedicated to promoting the encounter between historical heritage and contemporary creation, pursuing the idea of graft. Every two years, the Foundation awards the W Prize, aimed at students and recent graduates of architecture schools in Europe, which this year – its eleventh edition – focuses on the reinterpretation of the Montmajour Abbey, an iconic monument of the Arles region, France. The prize is awarded to the project that best combines respect for heritage and creative audacity. The exhibition and catalogue will show the winning projects.
