Since 1985, Walter Niedermayr has been working on projects that examine space as something people occupy and shape. The perception of space as well as indoor and outdoor space atmosphere are recurring themes in his photography and video art. Alpine regions and urban structures, architectures, and industries are the elements he mostly focuses on. These works should be understood as ongoing projects, with elements being added as the projects develop.
