With Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana, interpreted by a great master like Fabio Luisi, the Teatro La Fenice returns to Piazza San Marco in Venice. An event, organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Venice and with Intesa Sanpaolo main sponsor, which enriches the long and memorable list of historic Fenice dates that took place in the splendid setting of Piazza San Marco, starting from the first recorded appointment in the annals of the city theater, the staging of Cavalleria rusticana and Pagliacci back in 1928. Orff’s masterpiece will be interpreted by the Orchestra and Chorus of the Teatro La Fenice, with the participation of soprano Regula Mühlemann, tenor Michael Schade and baritone Markus Werba.
