On the occasion of the finissage of the workshop held at the Antares Pavilion in Venice Marghera, the volume ‘Extra Ordinario. Un laboratorio di pittura dell’Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia”, published by Vulcano Agency and edited by Daniele Capra and Nico Covre, will be presented. Present will be the authors of the essays Paola Bristot, Ernesto L. Francalanci and Adolfo Tura, lecturers Carlo Di Raco and Martino Scavezzon, the institution’s director Riccardo Caldura, artists Nebojša Despotović and Thomas Braida, and the book’s editors. The publication traces the events of the five editions of Extra Ordinario (2020-2024), the summer workshop of Atelier F, the longest-running painting course at the Venice Academy of Fine Arts. The presentation coincides with the finissage of the Extra Ordinario exhibition, which can be visited until 22 November from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. by booking by e-mail at extraordinario@vulcano.agency.
