Three days of full immersion to understand how “analog sound machines” work: from the ABC of the synthesizer to the secrets of its timbre programming for music production and performance. The new edition of Moog Summer Camp returns to Venice from 3 to 5 August in the Combo venue (ex Convento dei Crociferi), as part of the XV edition of the Venice Jazz Festival, with a final performance for the public signed by Francesca Guccione, scheduled for Saturday 5 August at 21.30. The concert for violin and synthesizers closes the seminar with a scholarship reminiscent of Marcello Mormile (admission 10 euros, including first drink). As part of the workshop, conducted by Enrico Cosimi, Francesca Guggione will also hold a masterclass entitled Analog synthesizers in today’s chamber music. Francesca Guccione is an Italian composer, violinist and sound artist. Always fascinated by the relationship between sound and image, she combined her violin studies with those in composition and soundtracks, obtaining a Master’s degree in this discipline with honors. Her love of travel and the need to always discover and experience new realities have led her to perform in many cities around the world, including New York, Toronto, Dublin and Alexandria in Egypt.
