The programming of Rete Cinema in Laguna continues, a collective of associations and people who live in Venice and work or care about the cultural sector – starting from the cinema – to rethink together the cultural city of their dreams. On April 20 at the Multiplex Rossini arrives On a eu la journée, bonsoir by Narimane Mari: «An act of love, the portrait of a painter, an ode to life. On a eu la journée, bonsoir is all these things. It is in the sound of an ending that the music of the living is played, of which we are all, wherever we are, an invented note. These are the director’s words to describe the film, a tribute to her deceased companion, the painter Michel Hass. Mari brings together fragments of life collected over the years, during movies or wandering the streets, and makes them dance with images of her accomplice. Michel Haas’ mischievous gaze contrasts with those of strangers gathered in a Parisian avenue, his body is flanked by those of children bathing in the Mediterranean, his sweet talk overlaps with the languid voice of Elvis Presley.
