On Saturday October 1st TBA21–Academy’s Ocean Space, in collaboration with TOCIA! Cucina, invite you to Campo and Chiostro San Lorenzo to celebrate the end of the exhibition season together with a day dedicated to the lagoon, its produce, and the Venetian community.
Conviviality has always been central to our cultures, a ritual that brings us together every day. What can this shared practice tell us about the landscape we inhabit?
The event is part of the research program “Convivial Tables. At the cross between food and ecology” focused on the complex links between what we eat and its ecological impact, with particular attention to the effects on bodies of water. Organized at Ocean Space by TBA21–Academy in collaboration with Marco Bravetti (TOCIA! Cucina e Comunità), the first series of Convivial Tables in 2022 have grounded their enquires on the Venice Lagoon.
