On 7 December, the Concert Season of the Toniolo Theatre, organised by the Culture Sector of the Venice City Council in collaboration with the Amici della Musica di Mestre Association, will present an extraordinary multidisciplinary performance, combining live music and dance, featuring cellist Mario Brunello and choreographer Virgilio Sieni together for the first time. An exceptional artistic tribute and deep friendship to Ezio Bosso, a friend who died prematurely. On stage, together with Mario Brunello and pianist Maria Semeraro, the dance company Virgilio Sieni: Jari Boldrini, Maurizio Giunti, Andrea Palumbo, Valentina Squarzoni, Linda Vinattieri. The programme includes music by Arvo Pärt, John Cage, Johann Sebastian Bach, Olivier Messiaen and, to conclude, Ezio Bosso’s Sonata ‘Roots’, composed precisely for Mario Brunello ten years ago.
