Il latte dei sogni
From a collaboration between Jacopo Ascari and Atelier Lunardelli Venezia comes a project that celebrates the dialogue between matter, memory, and visual art: an exhibition of thirty pieces carved from wood sourced from the Venetian Lagoon. An iconic element of Lunardelli Venezia, the sfojo is brought to life from the wood of the Venetian briccole, the oak poles that mark waterways. Carved by time and shipworms, seasoned and finished by master craftsmen, this material is transformed into a living surface for the visual narrative of the architect and illustrator Jacopo Ascari. The thirty sfoji tell the story of the great spaces of Venetian art and hospitality where Lunardelli Venezia wrote the history of local craftsmanship.
