Romina De Novellis (Naples, 1982) is a visual artist, performer, researcher, and anthropologist with Mediterranean roots but has been active in Paris for many years. In retrospective key, her exhibition highlights some of the most significant performances the artist created over the past fifteen years, enhanced by a peculiar installation. These temporary devices serve as visual tools to rethink space and the constraints and limitations that define it. Devoid of the bodily presence that once inhabited them, the installations relate to videos and photographs, themselves essential traces of De Novellis’ performative art.
