Promoting emerging art is the mission of the Nicoletta Fiorucci Foundation, based in London and now with a brand-new office in Venice in a building that used to be the studio of the painter Ettore Tito in the 1920s. Tolia Astakhishvili’s exhibition inaugurates this new art space.
The immersive installation by the Georgian artist, curated by Hans Ulrich Obrist, features art by eight other international artists: Ketuta Alexi-Meskhishvili, Zurab Astakhishvili, Thea Djordjadze, Heike Gallmeier, Rafik Greiss, Dylan Peirce, James Richards, and Maka Sanadze. Together, they created a unique, diverse organism where each voice contributes to building a stratified, fluid, and contemporary narrative
