While Venice is happily invaded by contemporary art (see ART and TheBAG-Biennale Arte Guide 2022), Incroci di Civiltà, the 15th edition of the Ca ‘Foscari literary festival, also returns to the city in the spring, an unmissable event for those who love books and their immortal power to open minds, thoughts, discussions.

Among the many scheduled appointments we have selected six not to be missed, including Lena Herzog (the artist is also present with a solo show on the theme of languages ​​in extinction) and Werner Herzog.

Water is protagonist of this pre-summer week with the Venice Boat Show (Arsenale) and, above all, with the traditional Festa della Sensa.

For a bit of coolness in the evening don’t miss the Golden Hour at Punta or take a trip to Mestre for the last spritz on the Terrace M9, combined with the Gusto exhibition.

Palazzetto Bru Zane approaches the grand finale of the festival dedicated to the Belgian composer César Franck; Alliance française commemorates the 400th anniversary of Molière’s birth with a show at Teatrino Groggia; Teatrino di Palazzo Grassi hosts two events that put art, design, music and cinema into dialogue.

Last but not least, the Lagoon and its ecosystem will be the protagonists of a program of meetings and initiatives organized by Ocean Space.
