Among the guests of the Vanishing Points public program, there will also be architect and designer of the staging and scenery of Penumbra Ippolito Pestellini Laparelli.
Curated by Bianca Stoppani and Paola Ugolini, Vanishing Points is a public program conceived to encourage new encounters and observe the multitude of perspectives active in Penumbra, the exhibition created and promoted by the In Between Art Film Foundation. The public program goes on with a series of conversations, screening programs, performances, and live readings around themes such as visual culture, aesthetics, philosophy, critical spatial practice, and geopolitics. Vanishing points, both real and symbolic, are indispensable to build an image. These points, where the eyesight runs out, prompt the viewers to investigate further what they are observing.
The artists themselves, joined by researchers, curators, and thinkers, will stimulate the dialogue by bringing to light the fundamental discourses of their artistic practice and the intrinsic nature of their works.
