A wide and modern environment, resulting from the restoration of a part of the architectural complex of Santa Marta, the Teatro Ca’ Foscari is a splendid example of brick industrial archaeology, which until the 1960s housed a cotton mill. Once used as a theater for the employees of the cotton mill, today it is a classic Italian-style theater capable of accommodating up to 186 people, equipped with modern multimedia equipment. It hosts numerous initiatives, mainly from Ca’ Foscari University: shows, workshops, and theater, dance, and music laboratories, as well as film screenings.
