Following recent analyses, the Danish Pavilion revealed structural issues and concerning vulnerabilities that required urgent renovation work. Initiated in December 2024, the renovation will take place throughout the entire Biennale as an integral part of the exhibition concept. Visitors, walking on rammed earth patches and raw concrete surfaces, will have the opportunity to explore the construction-site exhibition through elements such as ramps, benches, and tables made from surplus materials sourced from the building itself. The close collaboration with experts from various fields also highlights how biology, high technology, and recycling can harmoniously coexist in architecture, fostering a culture of resource awareness.
