Drawing inspiration from the Citizens’ Assembly, a representative political experiment born in Ireland in 2016, the multisensory installation welcomes visitors into an immersive environment made from Irish beech wood, featuring a handcrafted woven carpet. This resonant instrument comes to life as visitors move through it, creating a space where diverse experiences coexist harmoniously. Integrated speakers emit fragments of spatialized compositions, inspired by the Venetian tradition of cori spezzati, blending music, poetry, and interviews with the designers and Assembly members, along with recordings documenting the construction process of the structure itself.
