The Virginia Tech Honors College project draws inspiration from ancient lagoon beekeeping practices to imagine architecture that fosters biodiversity. At the Giardini della Marinaressa, an ephemeral pavilion hosts pollinating insects and new plant species, aiming to promote the growth and flourishing of green space, creating a “second nature” in the city of Venice.
