After her recent separation from her husband, Rie and her son go live in her childhood home. Some time later, she meets Daisuke and the two marry. Daisuke, unfortunately, dies in a tragic accident. Rie sees her lawyer, Kido, and tasks him with researching Daisuke’s past and what he may have possibly hidden from her…
Filmmaker Kei Ishikawa (Toyohashi, 1977) wrote and directed Arc (2021), Listen to the Universe (2019), Ten Years Japan (2018), and Gukoroku: Traces of Sin (2017). The latter passed in the Orizzonti section at the Venice Film Festival.
