In 1962, three films (the other two are Eighteen in the Sun and The Easy Life) see Catherine Spaak shape the image that will always be about her: a restless young woman and the object of desire of booming Italy. Salce makes a film where lightness in the beginning later gives way to a melancholic reflection on impossible love.
