Two fallen angels meet in Beirut’s streets trying to live a forbidden love. Ahmed is a Syrian refugee who sells recycled metals and is affected by a mysterious illness. Mehdia is an Ethiopian immigrant who works as a maid and tries to evade her oppressive bosses. Their love seems to have no perspective. On the edge of marginalization, and with nothing left to lose, they decide to run away together to look for a better life. But Ahmed’s health is getting worse…
The half French and half Lebanese director and journalist lives in Paris since 1998, the year in which he began working at the French-German network ARTE, covering from that year major conflicts in Liban, Afghanistan, and North Korea. In 2004 he released his first short film Hizz Ya Wizz. Currently, he is working on the film Fallen From the Sky.
