Juan Diego Botto was born in Buenos Aires in 1975 and began his acting career at the age of seven. He worked in La Celestina (1996), 1492: Conquest of Paradise (1992), The Suicide Squad (2021), and Dancer Upstairs by John Malkovich, which passed Out of Competition at the Venice Film Festival in 2002.
