Inspired by a real story, this psychological thriller follows Dimitru, a young Romanian clandestine aboard a cargo ship crossing the Atlantic. With him is a copy of the Bible, which will save his life when he is discovered by Joel, a Filipino crew. Joel risks his job for helping him, but his religion dictates he help him. A hard choice, dictated by faith, that will involve all crew in a game that grows dangerous by the hour…
Romanian director and screenwriter Mihai Mincan (1980) graduated at Bucharest University in 2002. He directed Love Bus (2014), documentaries Emigrant Blues: A Road Movie in 21/2 Chapters (2019), which he also wrote, The Man Who Would Be Free (2019), and short movie The Comet (2017). Mincan also wrote the script for The Palm Lines (2009), directed by George Chiper.
