The important sailing competition, always supported and personally experienced by representatives of Venetian high hospitality, reaches its tenth edition. With the indispensable support of internationally renowned skippers responsible for the technical and competitive aspects, they compete for the Cappello del Doge (Doge’s Hat), a coveted award made of Murano glass.
Competing in this spectacular regatta, the only one in the world held within a city circuit, are the yachts of Alajmo Ristorante Quadri, Aman Venice, Bauer Palazzo, Ca’ di Dio, VRetreats, Ca’ Sagredo Hotel, Hotel Danieli, Hotel Excelsior, The Gritti Palace, Londra Palace, JW Marriott, Nolinski Venezia, Palazzina, St. Regis, SINA Centurion Palace, and Violino d’Oro, as well as the Municipality of Venice-Nautical Exhibition and the Naval Military School “F. Morosini.”
The departure is scheduled for 1:30 PM from the San Marco Basin, and the extremely scenic route unfolds inside the Giudecca Canal between the two ends of the course, the San Marco Basin and the Maritime Station. The audience can follow the regatta from the shores of the San Marco Basin, Punta della Dogana, Giudecca, and the Zattere.
