A tetralogy punctuated by different colors, diverse skies under which to forge new connections between the arts and nurture something over time: This is the project for the four-year tenure of the Theater sector directors of the Biennale, Stefano Ricci and Gianni Forte (ricci/forte). They are now presenting their third edition, following Blue in 2020 and Rot in 2021. The program encompasses a series of performances and engagements with key figures in the contemporary theater scene, along with productions developed as part of the Biennale College Teatro. This year, the focus is on Italian directors under 35, Italian authors under 40, and both Italian and foreign performers under 40.

Among the highly anticipated artists are Armando Punzo, recipient of the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement and the founder of the renowned Compagnia della Fortezza. His performance, Naturae, will take place at the Teatro alle Tese on June 15th and 16th. Additionally, the Belgian collective FC Bergman, recipient of the Silver Lion, will present the national premiere of Het Land Nod (The Land of Nod) on June 17th and 18th.
