The different souls of the music of the Americas and the Afro-Cuban roots run through the universal language of the pianist Omar Sosa (piano, keyboards, loops & sampling). His unique style, of audacity and rhythm, which in a decades-long career has led him to collaborate with artists such as Paquito D’Rivera, Giovanni Hidalgo and Trilok Gurtu and to reach seven nominations at the Grammy Awards. He opens the Festival in piano only at the Sale Apollinee of the Teatro La Fenice to bring his music influenced by percussion, as a characterizing trait.
