Greek pianist Tania Giannouli told Musica Jazz website “I don’t limit myself and my music to styles or labels. My background is classical and modern music, not jazz. However, improvisation is growing in importance in what I do. I keep my eyes and ears open as far as composition and performance go and I believe that this explains my desire to explore everything that captures my interest.” Giannouli will be in Venice on June 26 to perform at Fenice Theatre. Her piano concerts take her audience into a soundscape where the inventiveness of the moment blends with different influences, intersecting dynamically with progressive intensity. Tania Giannouli won first place in the 2023 New International Talent line-up listed by magazine Musica Jazz.
