Libri a San Giorgio continues with the presentation by Vivaldi Album (Ricordi Milan-2022) a series of anthologies of opera arias taken from the corpus of theatrical music by Antonio Vivaldi. Presenting the volumes Ivano Bettin, Alessandro Borin with the participation of Francesco Fanna. The event is part of the Accademia Vivaldi meeting (8-12 November) led by soprano Gemma Bertagnolli; at 6 pm it will be followed by a concert by the students of the Academy who will perform some Vivaldi arias taken from the anthologies. The four volumes are a series of anthologies of opera arias, taken from the corpus of theatrical music by Antonio Vivaldi, which have survived to the present day. Each volume includes twelve pieces, diversified by affection and character, which exemplify a plurality of styles and dramatic situations, arranged in chronological order, so as to represent an ideal cross-section of Vivaldi’s entire career.
