Through the lens of the trans body, Finnish artist Teo Ala-Ruona questions the legacy of modernist architecture embodied by Sverre Fehn’s Nordic Pavilion. Blending performance, installation, and queer theory, the exhibition presents five performative scores that propose new directions for architectural practice: Impurity, Decategorization, Performance, Techno-body, and Reuse. Each score acts as a critical tool for rethinking notions of purity, identity, and transformation, challenging the sociopolitical norms that shape the built environment. A radical proposition intertwining corporeality, ecology, and spatial imagination.
