Julio Strassera and Luis Moreno Ocampo are two young lawyers who had the courage to investigate the bloody military dictatorship that controlled Argentina between 1976 and 1983, the so-called Junta Militar and its terrorist administration. A daily fight against death threats and political and personal attacks that upended the lives of the two protagonists while doing nothing to their willpower and spirit of sacrifice. The film has been shot on location.
Born in Buenos Aires in 1980, Santiago Mitre is a director and screenwriter who participated in the Cannes Film Festival twice – with Paulina in 2015 and with The Summit in 2017. With The Student (2011), Mitre won the Special Jury Award at the Locarno Film Festival.
