Sixth edition for the autumn interlude of a festival born from the irrepressible desire for live music, in a calendar curated by Veneto Jazz under the banner of the highest quality available on the square with an eye always on the experimental scene and new faces destined to become the classics of tomorrow. In Venice and Mestre an autumn peppered with big names and new faces of an ever-evolving language. Electronic contaminations and ethnic influences, minimalism and lyricism, ancient instruments and new sounds. It becomes seemingly more difficult to define this container of souls and backgrounds that is our fall festival, dedicated to jazz but inexorably evolving to so many languages. Alongside such heavy hitters as Edmar Castañeda and Gabriele Mirabassi, Sarah McKenzie, Marcin Wasilewski, Daniele di Bonaventura and Giovanni Ceccarelli, Markus Stockhausen and the quartet of Scott Colley, Jacob Karlzon, Benjamin Koppel and Magnus Öström, the invitation is also to discover the other projects, deep and newly inspired, such as the Tango Nuevo of Czechs Kristina Vocetková and Milan Rehák (featured photo).
